Dampen beauty sponge with water and squeeze out any excess. Apply Scientific Color® Foundation + Concealer with Beauty Sponge and build up to desired coverage. For touchups, spray preferred makeup setting spray on Beauty Sponge to refresh and set makeup.

So I will say the sponge is made of very good quality material, I found the brush, for me, much easier to use. Perhaps this is all demetri's fault simply because he gives us an exceptionally good quality and variety of brushes. I'm glad I had this sponge because I gave it to one of my best friends who loves it. So I believe between the sponge and the brush it's an individual preference. As with 95% of dimitris skin cosmetic products, there is something for everyone in his collections. I have so many items on autoship, and that is by choice I will not be without a skin cosmetic product for my face neck or body
